Some of my favorites.

 I thought I would share a few of my favorite works

of art. The first one is an acrylic painting

'Yellow Barns'

 The second is an art quilt I did while at QSDS in

Ohio and called ' Central Park'

 Than a beautiful art quilt I should have kept.

'Autumn'

I still have the painting though.

The last one is 'Sunset at Cedar Ridge'.

The view off of our deck.

I consider myself very fortunate to be able to make

these lovely pieces.

I am amazed at times.

I thank God for the talent he has put into my hands

and my heart.

Another idea on my bucket list.

Doing some quilts of children.

My granddaughters friend Char  posted

this photo this morning and I loved the pose

and the colors. So far I have 3

definite photos to work from.

The other two are a blond little

girl and a child picking apples.

Two more and that will be a series.

Ceramics too

When I was looking through pinterest I found

more ideas. Slab constructed bird houses. We

have one now and the wrens love it.

Hung in the shade under the edge of the

garage roof so it stays cool.

Pinch pot style birds will be fun too.

Maybe some cloth birds.

SO many ideas are flowing through my mind.

Soft taupe's and browns.

But that is for next week

This week is being consumed with taking

care of my husband who has pneumonia and

irregular heart rate.

Never ends.

 

 

Birds and Flowers.

 This is the year for Birds and Flowers.

I love both.

I want to day a show in 2017 of them.

Can't wait to start.

 I will do a bird for Quilt National 2017 too.

or maybe a flower or ?

 First of all I need a few days off.
