Friday Afternoon's Art.

I hung the new show at the Farmhouse Restaurant

on Fair Oaks, In and I had the afternoon free.

So.

I found this photo printed fabric in the UFO drawer.

I spent an hour or two stitching this little piece

of summer. This is a photograph off the dock at

my cousins lake house in Battle Lake Minnesota.

A pleasant end to the week.

Looking forward to summer even more.

Time flies

 Seems like it was just yesterday that we were in

Minnesota. 3 months has flown by and these

little ducks are probably ready to fly south

Soon the leaves will turn and fall .

Looking forward to January than I get 4 months

of usually uninterrupted studio time.

Time to turn fabric into art.

Tonight is opening of the FibR show.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in

the group I missed the last 2 meetings.

Yesterday I got  a fair amount of progress done

on my newest art quilt I will photograph it and

show you tomorrow.



Minnesota churches

All through the countryside in Minnesota are churches,

Most are Lutheran and out in the country.

After a couple of quiet days the latest

family group arrived at 10 pm last night.

The 3 red heads will make it lively this week.

When they leave here they will go to

Milwaukee for a week of missions

with the church youth group.

They will rebuild something.

But for now it will be fishing.
