The wood ducks are back.

 I looked out the window this morning .

Six or seven wood ducks showed up.

 Spring is really here.

Yay.

Finally .

The world never is the same.

 This past week I notice the farmer had removed my

favorite stand of trees.  So glad I took photos.

I always admired natures control of the growth

of these trees.

 Another spring of toasted magnolia blooms.

Crazy spring weather.

Soon the wood ducks will return.

Then I know it is really spring.

Comparaison

 The top two photos are with the new 5300 Nikon.

The bottom pic is the 3100 Nikon.

I can see a big difference in the clarity of print.

 I am glad I made the change,

but two days of running have left me very tired.

Need to get some caffine and get moving.

 Yesterday was Tax day and Massage day.

Now the rest of the week is Studio days.

Will show you later what I am doing today.

The Ducks have landed.

 Finally I think it is spring.

The wood ducks came back this weekend.

There were checking out the nest boxes.

Looking for their new home for the spring.

They just stay long enough to lay and hatch some

eggs and then are gone again.

I have been camera shopping this weekend.

Very  confusing.

I woke up at 3 am so I spent an hour and

an half researching the subject. I think I have

it narrowed down to a new camera body and

keeping my lenses. Now to try and get some

work done today I need to start a flower quilt.



Spring is here

Spring has finally come to Indiana.

 The wood ducks swim around the pond and

everything is starting to green up. I love the

early morning fog on the pond. Today the

window washer comes. It will be nice to see my

world through clean glass. They are so dirty from

the long winter. I need to get started on the 6

12x12 art quilts I need to make for an exchange.

Today will be a good day to start. I will stay

in the studio out of Luke's way. He does the

windows inside and out. What a luxury.

Well the day is starting with the bird song

outside my windows and it is time to get a move on.
