Looking forward to green.

I thought I saw hint of green in the grass yesterday.
The  daffodils are up about 4 inches.
The crocus are blooming.
Spring is on its way.
My husband is building a big green house for the
2016 garden season to grow tomatoes longer.
Soon it will be asparagus season.
So much to look forward to.

Today Owen our great grandson will spend the afternoon
with us and I plan to be outside most of the time.
He will be happy. We will find shovels, buckets and
all the sand toys little boys like.
Than a clean up in the big whirlpool tub.
Hopefully next week back in the studio.
I am finally feeling energetic.

Up Close

I love the small garden outside our vacation home.
There is a fallen tree trunk covered with moss.
Several little vignettes of plants and moss.
Taking close up photos may create some good
ideas for art quilts. The weather finally warmed up.
The fish are biting and so are the dogs. My
grandson went for a run and came back with
some holes in his ankle. Thankfully the dogs
shots were current. He just needs to take 10
days worth of antibiotics.
I am counting the days until I get back to my studio.
I have a painter refreshing half the house with
new paint, removing wall paper borders and
patching the holes I created on the design wall.
So it is a good thing I am gone.
When I get back it will be all nice and clean.
