Its a wrap.

I finished at 3 pm yesterday and got  Sunflower on Blue
entered into the In Full Bloom on the last day possible.
I cannot believe it took over 34 hours to do this quilt.
But then I never kept track before.
The gals at the FibR group did like the quilting.
I wasn't sure I did right by following the contour.
My husband did not like the quilting.
We shall see.
Today I will clean the studio. I need a clean start.
I do get messy.
I have some new projects and the big quilt to finish.
Enjoy this bright and warm day.

Sunflower in Blue.

22 hours and counting.
I just need to quilt 3 more leaves and the background.
Than fill the center with brown French knots.
Quilts takes longer than we think and others think.
I added two more flowers on the left and more leaves.
Hopefully I finish by Wednesday.
Time for bed.
Have a peaceful and quiet Sunday.

Blue Sunflower

I made some good progress yesterday.
I tried 4 backgrounds and the snow dyed blue
was the best. Love the combination of yellow and
blue. If this one gets rejected for shows I know
someone who loves sunflowers. My daughter.
Perfect gift.
I am shopping for either a George or a Sweet
Sixteen. Any opinions on which is best,
Sixteen has a 16 inch throat and George has a
20 inch. I can get the Sixteen cheaper but
is cheaper better?
