Apple blossoms.

In the field next to ours is a solitary apple tree.
It blooms without notice.
Fluffy pink blossoms.
Making apples for the deer.
Somehow I never remember it in the fall.
To check what kind of apples.
Maybe this year I will.

A summer vacation

I think Holly was 12 or 13 in this photo.
I decided to take her on a trip.
We went south and found this marvelous garden.

It is in Southern Indiana.
Just awesome.
This came to mind because Holly moved into her
own home yesterday.
Her and Owen have their own space now.
22 year old and a homeowner.
Thanks to her Dad and her hard work.

Hunter

This is my grandson Hunter.
He was 3 when this photo was taken.
I took him to a dig on the Kankakee river.
It was interesting and he enjoyed himself

We got to sift dirt looking for small pieces.
He did very well for a 3 year old.
This month he graduates and goes off to college.
I always enjoyed doing things with the grand kids.

Rainy Week

Its been a rainy week.
The smell of wet pine trees is yum.
I spent the week working on a dinosaur quilt
and pillows and a valence.
Our grand daughter a single mom is moving in
a house of her own this week.
It will be awesome.
