Nine lives for me.

I think  I will keep this one.
The colors are soft.
There is minky on the back.
I figure Great grandma needs a quilt for baby sitting.
Look what the kitten is reaching for.
A bird.
I am off to the studio to make some small bird art quilts.
Have a great day.

Jenna's quilt

Jenna's quilt is more crib size.
Jenna is 14 and it will be awhile before she will
need this. In the meantime it stays at my house.
As you can see I have learned a lot about
squaring up a quilt in the past 3 years.
I have learned a lot about everything.
She picked out these fabrics.
All the quilts are backed in flannel.
Babies like soft things.
Monday is my quilt. I figure that sometime
I may get to baby sit so I needed one at my house.

Nine Lives.

3 years ago I decided to make a baby quilt for
each of my grandchildren for when they had a baby.
I figured it would take me awhile to complete these.
This  is the one I made for Liz.
She is just finishing her student teaching and
 will graduate this spring.
We all like cats  so I am using a cat theme.
Her and Scott have Morris a yellow tabby cat.
No baby yet but they are young yet.
Morris is their baby.
So when she ever has a baby my gift is ready.
Sunday I will show you another in the series.
