Christmas Decorating

 Ti's the season to decorate.
I am ready for Christmas the décor is up and
everything looks so cheerful. I really love my Audubon
wood duck print. I got this at an auction for $5.
What a deal. I have 4 antique Audubon prints in
the great room. I love my birds. I like amaryllis
too. I brought my first one in this week.
Hopefully it will bloom.
We had the leftovers from Thanksgiving for
dinner tonight. I think I enjoyed it more.
I will finish the new quilt Tomorrow.
Than I have 2 commission quilts to do.
Always busy.

Christmas is coming

So it begins, making cookies , peanut brittle, mailing
packages to family, cleaning and planning.
Christmas comes but once a year.
Monday I spent 2 hours in the dentist chair
and I have a new front tooth.
Yesterday I had a 2 hour massage.
Oh so nice.
I think I am almost human again.
I went to Walmart for some toys for
the great grand kids. They make pink Lego's.
How cool. Bought another load of groceries.
Today it is finishing up the food gifts and mailing
my sisters packet to Arkansas.
I told the post office I have one more
but that I had to bake some things.
He said there is a new rule any with food packages
there must be samples for the post office. :)
He must know I always bring them a platter of sweet stuff.
I am staring to plan art quilts in my head.
Colors slipping through my thoughts.
I have lots to do with 2 shows this next summer.
I am looking forward to getting back to creating.

Christmas at our house

 Welcome to our house.
Everything is decorated birds and flowers.
Red and White,
I love Christmas.
Our tree is only 3 foot tall .
just enough for 2 people.
It is a lovely warm day for December 2.
We went to church.
Ate out.:)
Took a nap.
Now to read a book the rest of the day.
A perfect Sunday
My favorite decoration in the kitchen window.
Doing dishes and watching the birds.
Lots of cardinals, chickadees and nuthatches.
