Studio Tour

Thought I would show you my studio when it is
reasonably clean. I have a very large workspace.
I am really fortunate. 3 ironing spaces, 3 cutting spaces
and 2 design walls. This is just some of my fabric.
I have another shelf unit in the bedroom and a
8 x 11 walk in closet for fabric and supplies.
My inspiration wall is full of ideas.
I keep the things I use most of all around me.
I can reach the beads, small pieces of fabric, threads,
bolts of 805, peltex and thermalon within reach
of my chair. I would say I am very lucky to
have such a sunny and large space.
All the more room to get messy.
Today is a luncheon with other artist.
We will go to Asparagus a Vietnamese restaurant.
I will take Doris my 91 year old friend with me.
She will talk my leg off we have not been
together for a few weeks. She has been too
busy to have time for me.  :)
Have yourself a great day.

Studio time.

Well the work space is finally cleaned for the fall.
It was a mess.
Now maybe I will get busy creating something.
I already cut out a baby girl quilt yesterday.
Now to put it together.
I am so glad I found the Kola cabinet on Craig's list.
For $300 it was a steal.
Makes sewing a dream.

The last day.

Good Morning.
Today we finish our final art quilt.
I have found that I  haven't changed my style
very much at all.
Most everyone seems to like my style.
So do I need to change.
we will see.
Nature continues to be my base.
Love my woods, water and birds.
Off to the studio.
I do miss my home studio.
More space to spread out.

My new Kola sewing cabinet

Look at this bargain I found on Craig's list
Now I am really organized.
Finally the right height to avoid frozen shoulders.
All that stuff on the right used to set around my machine.
So much easier to work.
I just need to turn my chair to the right
and all my embellishments are there.
Very efficient.
Now to quit messing around with re-arranging
and get to work creating again.
