Good Morning Saturday

Love old buildings. Rusty things, old cars
and anything old that would include me.
Age is a good thing. Another beautiful day
at Cedar Ridge. Spending the morning
cleaning out all the flower beds of the
old dead  flower heads. The birds quit eating
them and have moved back to the feeders
so time to clean up with the help of my
grand daughter Jenna.  We will share the
last watermelon for a snack break.

The road home.

Finally finished the new art quilt.
Fall in its most glowing colors.
It is my favorite time of the year.
Next art quilt will be more abstract.
4 weeks of stitching in my spare time.
The hand dyed threads from Artfabrik
                really make the finishing touch.

Time out for a fabric check.

With the garden keeping me out of my studio
I had to take time to reconnect with fabric yesterday.
I played around with these colors
and made a mess but
it felt good.

Love the color combination but I was rusty
around fabric after 2 weeks away.
Got my SAQA Journal and
got inspired again.
Loved Trisha Hassler's work.
That is so me.
I must finish the tomato's
 fast so I can reconnect.
OR maybe just go and buy
3 cases of Red Gold tomato juice.
I could get back in the studio faster.
