Wooded things

Now that fall is almost over I seek out wooded
objects. They are interesting.
An old root in the neighbors yard.
Fence posts wrapped in barb wire..
An old bolt drives into wood.
Weathered wood is nest.

A collection of favorites

I took a class with Katie PM in Grand Rapids.
We painted canvas than stamped it.
Cut it. Than put is back together in quilt format.
A fun concept. She is a fun teacher.
Even strawberries turn color in the fall.
Beautiful reds against the rocks.
Sunny days bring out the best in nature.
Blue skies and blue water.
love living today.

Small quilts

I have a whole day to spend in the studio.
A rare event.
I have to admit my muse had left me this year.
I need to fine it again.

Hopefully it is down in the studio waiting for me
today.

Computers repaired

Thanks to my son in law and grand son my
computer is cleaned and working again. Just in time to
enter the AQS Daytona show.
Cleared off the viruses and moving fast again.
I also am going to submit a proposal for a show in
2018 with the theme of wildlife around Cedar Ridge.
Glad to be back posting again.

Have a great week all.

EYES

Sorry for the long time not posting.
I had laser cataract surgery.
A month later I finally am getting back to normal.
Wow the clarity of my vision is awesome.
Except for close up.
will need readers.
My Wi-Fi was down all of last week.
Plus the glare from the computer bother my eyes.
So I just chilled out for awhile.
Now to get back in the swing of things.
I have a solo show at the Chesterton Art Gallery.
Opening reception is Sunday 2 to 4.
Thursday I deliver all of my current pieces
plus paintings and pottery.
Looking forward to creating with greater clarity.

Northern Lights.

The quilt Northern Lights is still a favorite
September brings yellow flowers and lots of bees
and butterflies. Lately the mornings have been foggy.
The pond is mysterious and moody.
I love the fall.
