Spring in Feburary

 February

It has been 69 to 70 degrees.

The flowering spring things are starting to bud.

It must either stay warm or stay cold.

 I am loving the weather but it will ruin the plants.

Today I need to finish the sleeve on Firestorm

and send it off to Bloomington to the

Indiana Heritage show.

Next week I will visit the show with Judy Tucker.

CATS

I love cats

All cats.

We had 37 cats at one time.

My youngest son would go around with a cat

around his neck.

 This summers goal is to make cat art.

Clay, paint and fabric.

Green

Soon we will see the green of the grass.

The trees and fields.

 We have missed you the color green.

Maybe that is why I decorate the house green.

To bring it inside to wrap me in it.

Turquoise

Turquoise brightens up life.

I love the color.

I use it a lot in quilts.

I decorate with it .

What's not to love about it. 

Purple

 Yesterday was a day of flowers.

I got flowers.

I love flowers.

 The best I ever got was from my daughter.

I put them in my purple vase.

Put my favorite bird by them.

I enjoyed them for a long time.

Orange

 Orange is a difficult color.

But it show up a lot in nature.

 

 Orange counter balanced with purple.

Orange with black and white.

I think orange is hot.

Especially in art quilts.

Blue

 Blue skies,

 More blue skies.

Blue ribbon and blue skies.

Looking for lots of blue in 2017.
