Spring

Its almost time for that special season

when the earth awakens. 

Clear skies

Thankfully yesterday and today are clear of rain.

Jasper County will need at least a month for

the water to recede back into the River.

I have watched these floods as a child .

Sometimes the river wants to go back to 

2 miles wide. Mother nature decides.

Water Everywhere

We are under water.

The river levees and ditches are breaking all over.

What a mess.

Must be spring

The big blue heron returned to the pond yesterday.

Spring is not far behind.

Crazy weather. 6.5 inches of rain.

River and Ditches overflow.

School cancelled.

Need some sunshine.

Added a layer of screen printing

with gold leaf.

Now to add embellishment.

These two small art quilts are for the

Spotlight auction for the spring SAQA meeting.

This is just the first layer.

More to come tomorrow. 

The 12 x 12 art quilt will be for the 

SAQA funds raiser.

Hoping to finish all by the end of the month.
