The view out my studio window

I am so fortunate to have saved lots of my
parents and grandparents plants for my yard.
Yellow iris from my husbands grandparents.
The view out my window.
Some Siberian iris from my fathers yard,
Siberian iris and heirloom yellow scented day lilies.
Brown iris from my fathers gardens.
My dad was quite a gardener.
He loved his plants.

Beautiful Weekend

I love this time of the year.
It smells great and is sunny.
The pond is alive with swimming and
flying birds.
Our God gave us a beautiful place to live.

New Series

New Project.
Making something new out of something old.
I have been collecting old hand sewn quilts.
For the next year I will make a series of
quilts out of old. The hexes will turn into
a flower garden.
