September is here.
My past 3 weeks has been spent in recuperation
from knee replacement.
The flock of 3 hens and their chicks kept me
entertained. They scratched through the flower
beds looking for bugs and seeds.
They gave me some ideas for some art quilts.
So glad I am on the mend.
That is one brutal surgery.
6 more weeks of therapy than
a few months of being good.

I have pictures from our back where over 20! turkey and a dozen deer all together eating corn. Before we started to go to Florida we always fed the deer each winter...now we are gone and boohoo we don't get to feed or see the wildlife.
