Turkey Trot

September is here.
My past 3 weeks has been spent in recuperation
from knee replacement.
The flock of 3 hens and their chicks kept me
entertained. They scratched through the flower
beds looking for bugs and seeds.
They gave me some ideas for some art quilts.
So glad I am on the mend.
That is one brutal surgery.
6 more weeks of therapy than
a few months of being good.

Butterflies and Blooms

This weeks entertainment.
Watching the butterflies go crazy
for all the blooming bushes in my gardens
Amazing markings on the side of this one

The softest blue and yellow

A perfect morning walk.

Summer fast fading.

I am frantically getting myself and my house
ready for my second knee replacement.
Amazing what needs to be done.
Gardens weeded.
Meals in the freezer,
Exercise,
WOW.

Missing in action

The flowers are blooming and I am enjoying them.
Been extra busy getting my ducks in a row.
Weeding, finishing last minutes projects,
Doing pre - op  exercises.
Cooking salt free meals for the freezer,
and just rushing about.
Once I have my surgery I will have more time
for the computer. I promise.

Minatures

My miniature succulents.
Will be bringing these in shortly.
Love my plants.
Not sure my husband can keep these alive
for me after my knee replacement surgery.
Don't you love the old table they are on.
Found at a garage sale last year.
They will make me walk around the house more
taking care of them.
