Peace and Tranquilty

Just got home from Lafayette and the gallery.
I just realized after Saturday
I have no obligations.
Whoopee.
The only thing I have left to do this summer
is to
CREATE ART
at my own leisurely pace.
I may take long walks in the morning
and enjoy my gardens.
uhhh nice.

Its all in the details.

My last day of adding  the accent  colors to my quilt.
I just love the colors of this hand dyed # 5 thread.
Artfabrik's threads are awesome.
I hope to finish this today.
I will bring it to Lafayette  on Thursday.

I will stretch it this afternoon
and add the final touches of paint.
Than on to a new project.

Hoosier Roads and Rivers

My completed entry for the show.
I used silk to create small quilts
showing the Kankakee and Iroquois Rivers.
The River runs through all the quilts
I am working on the 22 " x 38" quilt yet.
I should finish by Friday.
 We installed the show yesterday.
Every one's art work blended together so well.
Bonnie has to do an installation yet
than it will be complete by Sunday evening.
I see I will need to return and straighten some.
Today is the start of Art Camp.
Little Zoe will be here to experience clay.
I am looking forward to the experience of teaching.
