My flowers waited for me

My flowers waited until I got back from Minnesota.
I just will ignore the weeds that didn"t.
I am finally feeling better. I am getting my
vertigo under control. It usually takes a week
after traveling to return to normal. I have to
do my vestibular exercises to balance out again.
Yesterday I finished the 5 12 by 12 blocks I
am doing as part of an exchange. It felt good
to run that sewing machine again. I had the
inside of the house painted while I was
gone so I am gradually putting the art
back on the walls. All signs of returning to normal.
Hooray.

Art

It is time to start creating art again.
Yesterday I spent some time in the studio
and got to work finishing the 12 by 12 blocks
I need to have done by Friday.
It really felt good to be back in my chair in front
of the sewing machine.
Today is the forth of July.
The fireworks started last night (well really
I have been hearing them for days) and will
finish tonight with the neighbors big bang.
My son is moving today. The new house is not
done yet so they will camp out in the basement
and shower at her moms house. Should be
interesting for the boys they have lived in
the house they are vacating for their whole lives.
Brent will go off to college in August and the
youngest will start high school. Life brings
many changes.  I promised them lunch of sloppy
joes, chips and watermelon. I had better get cooking.

Bsck Home in Indiana.

Our last 2 days at Battle Lake were windy.
The  wind messed up the computer transmissions.
So I could not use the computer until I got home.
Traveling 13 hours home in a truck messed up my
brain waves. I will get back to normal soon.
My BPV is acting up but usually it takes only
a few days to return to normal.
Wow when we pulled in the driveway everything
was so green. As soon as I had the stuff unpacked
I spent a morning in the yard cutting back the jungle.
Now to resume studio time.
Traveling always makes me dizzy for a few days
so until it settles down I will refrain from
doing any damage to fabric. I should be back
to normal by the 4th of July. I need to finish
my 12 by 12 blocks to share I have received all
but one of the 5 from the others. I fear I will be
the last one done. Better to do them right
than to send out inferior work.
