By George.

 By George I did it.
I ordered a George machine yesterday.
It is a table size free motion quilting machine.
I am looking forward to being able to quit my larger
pieces more easily.
I now have a full week clear to just work in the studio.
Looking forward to concentrating and getting work done.
Beautiful weather lately .
Cool nights and warm days.
Perfect.

Pond lilies in abundance

Lost a couple of days getting injections in my knees.
Nice to be able to walk again.
The process is a bit painful glad o have it over.
I get my first knee replaced end of July.
Any advice out there about knee replacement?
Now I really need to get in gear.
The BIG quit needs to be done.
The next week will be quilting only.
That is why I do most of my work in January
through May I get busy and distracted by the
lovely weather and all the events going on in
the spring.
The Koi pond is on steroids.
7 blooms at once a new record.
All because we were too busy to clean the
bottom of all last years fish poo.
All that fertilizer means lots of lilies.

Bright and Sunny

This is one of the pots I made for summer fun.
Love all the purple and magenta.
I also planted some bright things outside my
studio window so I will have a good view this summer.
We had our first water lily bloom this week and
lots more buds coming.
We really love the sound of water.
So relaxing.
Today I need to bring in something for the
Chesterton Women's Show.
I am thinking the sunflower quilt would be a good choice.
Well off to work, Need to get something done.

Park like setting

Every spring I panic as I look out at all the work
needed to keep this yard neat. Our grandson has
come to the rescue again. Next summer he will have a
real job though. I am so blessed to live in such a
beautiful park like setting.
From the bare grounds of March to this splendid
show of beauty.
Some day these old folks will have to give this
up for good. Not yet though. Maybe we will
find another Brad.  I am almost finished with
the binding on the raffle quilt only a few spots
to neaten up and the corners to hand stitch.
Monday I will start stitching on panel # 2.
The goal is to finish the whole thing by end of June.
