The Heron on Rocky Shores flies off to Paducah
on Monday to join Red Chairs.
I need to decide by Friday which quilts I want to
enter in the AQS Grand Rapids show.
Always a challenge to decide which quilt goes where.
I found this old photo of a sunrise out my kitchen window.
I forgot where this one went. I think it is time for a
repeat. The problem is finding time to get in the studio.
I bought a new Bernina and  had to take class in
how to use it. that killed yesterday. Today is
my regular skin check for cancer. That will take care
of today. Maybe some time Friday?

 Sundays are good for thinking.
I went through my photo files to print off ideas.
I have to do 3 quilts for a Flight show.
What else but birds.
Birds soaring in the air.
Than I need two strong entries for the Salon Show.
I have a large flower garden I started last year
and I saw some rusty fence out behind the barn
that I will turn into a mix up of quilting and organic.
Fabric fence posts and vines and berries on the fence.
I am going to try two entries for Quilt National 2017.
I saw a clip on Norman Lewis's art and it gave
me inspiration to make a couple of modern quilts.
His work is awesome.
Now to get to work in the morning.
