Saturday's delight. The Robins journey.

Every year the Robins spend a week here at the Ridge.
They dine on the berries from the big Cedar tree.
Drink and bathe in the Koi pond by the house.
What a nice way to start the day.
Love my birds.

Friday morning

Fall cannot last long enough for me.
THE colors are great this year.

But than there is the walnut tree in Battleground, IN
When I pick up clay  I always have to take a photo
of this huge tree in Darlene's yard.
Bought another 200 pounds for the winter.
I have the urge to make some coffee mugs.
What a week.
I think I lost a couple of days.
My daughter the nurse summed it up.
Well after all you are 68 the flu hits harder
when you are old.
I thought 90 was old not 68.
Children.

I just love roads lined with trees.
Especially with trees.
Latched onto a bad flu & cold bug
that has kept me out of commission,
My head is one big echo chamber.
I will return when able

Tuesday's mornings golden glow.

Sunlight through the trees
The glow of Fall.
Fall grasses highlighted  by the sun.
The sumac glows red against the woods.
The old wind mill spins in the gentle breeze.
Fall is a special time of the year.
Have a great day.

A Sunny Monday morning.

I just love the first half hour before and the
first half hour after sunrise.
The colors glow especially with the
help of the foggy mist  from the
cooler night time temperatures.
Fall is my favorite time of year. I am
getting ready to spend 5 days in Brown
County Indiana in a log cabin with 9
other women creating art with pastels.
                                 Wednesday I deliver the centerpieces
to the Bravo Arts Brunch and continue
on to Brown County for 5 days. What a
treat to make new friends and spend time
in the hills of Brown County.
Sassafrass trees make the best color in the fall.
Enjoy the days  it will soon be winter.

Sunday morning.

Sundays are quiet times at our house.
Reading a good book, Sunday dinner.
Some time outside in this glorious
                    Indian summer weather. Enjoy.
