Details.

 The details make the quilt.
I thought I would show you some close ups of the
Big quilt. The birds look better closer.
 I love the oak tree.
Trees are my favorites anyway.
Today I get all the packages ready to ship.
My husband will take them all to UP on Monday.
Closing in on the details.
Have yourself a nice weekend.

Three in a row

Sorry to not blog with regularity lately.
Medical issues have kept me busy.
I am putting three of the 5 panels together to
enter into the Salon Show in Munester.
Hopefully they will get accepted.
I have to mail quilts to Montana and Kentucky.
Put together entries to two shows
So much to do before the 28th.
My blogging will be spotty but I will do my best.
Off this morning for more testing.
Hope you enjoyed a peak  at the finished product.

Gardens in Summer

It was misty and foggy this morning making the
gardens mysterious.
Muted colors.
Very Monet.
One of my favorite a day lily I found in Elk River
in Minnesota. The deepest red in my garden.
Two weeks until my knee replacement and I am
frantically getting all my entries of art quilts
really to mail or be delivered.
The freezer is full of low salt meals enough to
last until Thanksgiving. Pantry is stocked.
All throw rugs removed.
Just have to finished backing one of the panels today
and than get my Quilt National entry 80 % done.
Not much pressure.
