Sunrise-Sunset Swiftly flow the days.

Our first measurable snow is coming tonight.
This year has gone so fast.
Hard to believe 2015 is just around the corner.
Life goes so fast.
Today I am going to start a winter series of quilts
with dairy cows in them.
I need something for the Farmhouse Restaurant for winter.
Cows in snow will be perfect.
Always like a new project.
I have only 2 weeks to get it together.
Better get to work.

Wednesday

How True.
Yesterday was a miserable day to finish up my
Christmas shopping. Rain, windy and cold.
I came home and made some hot chocolate first thing.
Warmed up enough to make some oatmeal for supper.
Today is another day in sorting out the studio and
ironing fabric. Friday is the Holiday show and my set
up looks good. It went up in one hour.
Everything priced and ready for purchase.
Well I better get busy cleaning.
Have a great day.

Winter is coming

Its that time of year when winter comes roaring in.
Our first artic blast will be here this afternoon.
I am looking forward to hibernating in my studio.
I have so many ideas running through my head
right now and cannot wait to start.
I got a lot done in cleaning the studio yesterday.
It is looking so much better.
Making the big quilt made quite a mess.
I should be able to finish up by next week-end.
Today is for setting up my display in the Carnegie center.
Friday night and Saturday is the Holiday Show.
I have several small art quilts and 36 quilt cards.
Saturday  my grandson Hunter helped me organize
the freezers. I was wondering where all my containers
went. Well they are in the freezer with meals in them.
Food for at least 6 months in there.
Once I get done cleaning and start creating I will
only have to go to the freezer each morning and
choose a meal for the day and spend my time
making ART.

Sunset on Sunday

I have been bad about blogging lately.
I decided to give my studio a good cleaning.
I started with the wet studio.
Totally cleaned out and floor repainted.
Now this week on to the sewing space.
My helper and I am washing and ironing all
of the fabric in the house. Should be done by the
end of January. Too much fabric.
Everyone keeps asking if I am having a
Christmas open house.
Only if I get the studio in shape again.
Amazing how knee surgery stops a person in
their tracks. 3 months of no picking up and cleaning
makes for some very deep plies.
But I will conquer it.
I just had to visit this bright sunflower quilt again.
It is dreary outside and I needed some cheer.
This week is our art league's Holiday show.
A chance to clear out some of the overflow.

Will be glad to have a clean studio to start some
new projects.
