I am giving away this 8 by 10 art  quilt.
The colors just are not me.
So why keep it .
I am going to be clearing out stuff I don't use.
Too much stuff in our house.
Someone else can enjoy it.
If you like it just leave a comment,
I will draw a number on Monday morning.
Please do so only once.

  1. Good idea. I have a lot of small things that I use for fund raisers and gifts. I would like to add it to my collection. These things are always welcome at charity occasions.

  2. Rock and Roll is here to stay! My husband is the original Buddy Holly fan, and this is so him! I love the colors!

  3. Since I was born in 1948 and lived through the rock and roll era, I love this art piece. It makes me sing.

  4. Rock On! Very nice, great way to "clean house"

  5. It makes me remember the late sixties and early seventies when I truly frolicked in Boston; it was just the best time in my life. I remarked to someone that no one could ever come along who could be special enough to leave this time and place. Then I met my husband. We had 36 wonderful years together before he died of brain cancer. So, on a low day I remember all the good times in my life and work to move on.

  6. Awesome piece! And much as I would love to have it, Michele's comments touched my heart. I wanted it because of its liveliness but for her it would be a memory. Good luck to all.

  7. I love it :) Please enter me in your drawing (and pick me) lol

  8. Wow the colors just zing for me..when you choose a new home I hope it is mine

  9. Well if you don't like the colours, I certainly do. I'm gald you do some spring cleaning. Thanks for the chance!

  10. MaryAnn,
I would love to add this little quilt to my collection of like-sized little studio quilts that are framed and hanging here at my office at Handi Quilter, where hundreds of people can see and enjoy them each year. It doesn't hurt that green is my favorite color!
Thank you for thinking of such a generous way to destash.
    Brenda Groelz

  11. Wow, I'd be honored to win either the quilt or the stamp! Both wold be inspiring.
    Debbie Krueger

  12. Love it! It will go nicely with the three gutters, bas fiddle, mandolin, and piano that populate my parlor. Char Wirfs

  13. Hi MaryAnn,
I would love the quilt as my daughter is a guitar playing musician and it is perfect!
    Colleen Morsett

PS The only way I could get this to post was to choose anonymous!

  14. Hi MaryAnn,

This is a great looking piece and the colors are wonderful. I have a friend who would love to have this and I would love to give it to her! Thanks so much for sharing this! I too had to pick anonymous to get this to post.

  15. I have a friend who would love this. And the colors are wonderful, I think. Plus, what a wonderful way to destash! Thanks for the opportunity.

  16. Thanks to Mary Ann for sending the quilt my way. Also, thanks to the group for the nice comments.

It is so wonderful to have the Sisterhood of the Traveling Quilts!
