Learning

I survived the first day but barely.
Loved every minute of it though I am almost too
old to spend 8 hours in a class.
Jane Dunnewold is a nice woman and a very good
teacher. It is a pleasure to learn from her.
I am learning a lot.
Three days full of learning.
The first day we removed color form our samples.
Then we dyed them.
Today we will add more layers to our cloth.
2 More days to absorb as much as I can.

Things are greening up.

The sun is shinning and the birds are chirping happily
outside my window. Another perfect spring day.
Yesterday Brad my grandson hauled 5 pick-up loads of
branches and leaves to the burn pile. The rabbits and deer
did lots of damage this past winter. The rhodadendums
did not survive our harsh winter either.
The sun shines on and life will continue without
them. The white pines are always constant and
I love the sun shinning through them.
Wednesday I go to Fine Line in Saint Charles, Illinois
for a 3 day class with Jane Dunnewold.
I plan on having a great time and getting
very messy with dyes and paint.
Now to finish packing. I am the woman who
brings everything but the kitchen sink to a class.

Central Park

Central Park is in Machine Quilting Unlimited this
month. If you get this magazine check it out.
I am also writing an article for the magazine to
appear in the Fall issue.
Did you have a good day yesterday.
I did.
A great get together with the family.
Love seeing everyone visiting.
Have a great day.
I am busy packing for a class with Jane Dunnewold.
I will spend 3 days altering commercial fabrics,
fun times.
