Samara House- Frank Lloyd Wright

Thursday was my regular FibR group meeting.
My grandson  Brent told me about this Frank
Lloyd Wright house he had seen with his landscape
class in Lafayette. So I arranged a tour to coincide
with my meeting on Thursday.
It was very awesome.
I love Wirghts architecture and really enjoyed
the experience. I had been to Spring Green Wi.
to see this studio and home there too.
The details in a Wright house are endless.
Everything is planned down to the linens and
stationary. nothing is left out.
The landscaping was awesome too.
My husband had been gone for the week
fishing and this was my treat for the week.
Well worth the 2 1/2 hours.
Going to be in Lafayette, In  the contact number
is 795-409-5522. They give 2 tours a day.

Leafy time

 A busy Monday.
I spent the whole day putting leaves on the panels
and stitching branches. I just have one panel to put
leaves on. Than I can move on to reflections and
the birds. Finally closing in on this project.
I am hopeful that I will finish this project by
the 17th of June.
Than I can move on to making something for
Quilt Nationals.

Yesterday as I was leaving I took a ride around the pond.
A little green heron was fishing in the shallows under the willow tree.
A red wing back bird hung on the wire fence.
Going down the driveway a wild turkey raced me to the end and won.
Fast turkey.
That evening I am looking out the window to the back
and a doe was munching on my flowers.
I told her to get lost they are my flowers.
I am so blessed to live in a beautiful world.
Have a peaceful Sunday and enjoy the graduation parties today.
